What are my options for funding my tuition at Divergence Academy?

  • FFARS – Friends, Family, and Relatives. Your closest companions are often the best source of funding when you need it. Especially when it comes to something like investing in your education so that you can begin a career that pays upward of ten times as much per year. You could even offer to do tech support for them in exchange for the loan or help.
  • Employee Programs – Most companies involved in related fields will pay for your training, provided you pass. If you contact your HR department about tuition assistance, you may be surprised to find that they will pay for the entire thing.
  • Corporate, Government, and Religious Sponsors – Some companies and local or local governments will sponsor your endeavors. City, County, and State governments, chambers of commerce, and even religious institutions know the value of cultivating high-tech talent, and bringing the kind of money that skill-set attracts into the area.
  • Scholarships – There are an enormous number of scholarships out there to pay tuition expenses, and sometimes even added costs like room and board, books, fees, and so forth. Those who are considered disadvantaged may be eligible for multiple scholarships that others could not apply for. Between Google searches, high-school and college counselors, and our own known resources, it is entirely possible to pay for the majority of, if not the entirety of, the tuition.
  • Online Crowdfunding – There are many sources of internet crowdfunding, such as GoFundMe, where those with the right amount of charisma and public relations skills can get funding for life events, such as our training courses.
  • Loans – If after all that, you still cannot obtain funding for training, you might consider the value of taking out a loan to pay for the classes. Though you would have to pay it back with interest, it would still pale in comparison to what you would be making in first-year salary.

Are there any funding options specific to Divergence Academy?

Divergence Academy has contracted TADS third-party tuition payment service provider to help manage student accounts. TADS information is sent upon acceptance into the academy.

Full-time students pay $6,625 up front and the remaining amount each month in two installments immediately after the program graduation. After the 3rd payment the student understands and agrees that he/she will be liable for interest charges that will be assessed on the account balance until the balance is paid in full. Interest will be charged at 8% per annum on the student’s adjusted outstanding balance at the end of each month.

The adjusted outstanding balance is defined as all charges incurred by the student for attendance at the school at the end of the prior month, including but not limited to tuition, cost of books and registration fees less the total amount paid to the student’s account at the end of the current month.

Total Tuition: $13,300

Tuition Fee Balance after Registration Fee: $13,225

  1. First Payment: $6,625
  2. Second Payment: $3,330
  3. Third Payment: $3,300

8% interest rate on the adjusted balance after the third installment.
